- 4th semester B.Sc. Biochemistry students were taken to Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP), Tamilnadu, for a one-day public awareness programme on 1st Feb 2025, (Saturday).
- Department of Biochemistry in collaboration with Dept. of chemistry organised a Plastic Awareness campaign conducted in coastal areas of Poovar in 2019.
- Dept.of Biochemistry organaised a National seminar on “Biosciences and Beyond:Diverse Dimensions” on 6th & 7th of January 2020.
- Department of Biochemistry and Dept. of chemistry jointly organised a science exhibition in connection with the science day celebration on 25th February 2021.
- Dept. of Biochemistryin association with Chemistry and Zoology department organised programmes like Book review, Speech and Quiz in connection with the Reading Week celebrations on 26th June 2021.
